Carlos Perches and Ramon Sardina are best friends studying to be veterinarians and living with their families in Satelite, México's City first suburb. On Christmas eve, they excuse themselves from the family dinner and drive to the National Anthropology Museum. The Museum, which holds the most important collection of prehispanic art in the world, had only 9 guards who were asleep by then, and no alarm system. In less than an hour, Carlos and Perches robbed the Museum of 180 of its most precious pieces from all of Mexico's cultures. The next morning Carlos and Ramon wake up to the reality of their actions as the robbery is an immediate international scandal which adds insult to the injuries the country had endured that year, including the tragic earthquake which devastated Mexico City just a few months before. Museum follows the story of these young men whose  as they descend into an abyss where they will have to confront their loyalty, their identity and the true consequences of their actions, 4 long years after the robbery.
